Imago Village

We enjoyed our stay in the Kamook and found the place peaceful and relaxing. The heater ensured we weren't cold at night. The owner was absolutely wonderful. We got stuck and got a flat tire, and he changed our flat, got us unstuck and arranged for a tire change in Chicoutimi! Quality customer service.

My fiancé and I rented a deluxe tent and absolutely loved it! The yurt is adorable, and perfect for a couple. Sleeping in the loft was fun, it was super cozy and had a clear roof. The yurt also had multicolored LED lights that you could control which was an awesome little touch and we were super happy with how clean the bathroom was. Additionally, there's a cool yurt bar that's a great place to go for a good drink and good food. We would definitely recommend Imago Village!

Great kitchen in a nice setting, cool yurt atmosphere! Very attentive waitress, super chef, and the owner was nice enough to show us around. Next skidoo trip to the area we hope to stay in one of their yurts for a night or 2, and enjoy the “Glamping” experience!

We went for a night at the imago village, it was incredible and very cozy. The only problem were some things inside the igloo weren’t clean. But the location and the experience make it worth it. Thank you Lise for the snowmobile tour, it was a very cool experience.

Great view from the deck to to the surrounding forest and ski hill beyond. Love looking out of the almost 5' wide dome to see tree tops when going to sleep. Clean new showers nearby. Would stay again :)

Super cool experience! The yurts, especially the newer ones, are so well made and offer the best views. Star gazing from them is incredible! The hosts and their staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Their passion for what they do and their love of the area is evident! They went over and above to ensure I had the best stay possible. I highly recommend a stay with them. I’ll definitely be back!

One word : Amazing ! I had never slept in a yourte before and boy was this the best experience. It was cosy and large enough even for 3 grown men! Even at extremely cold temperatures we were very comfortable with the ecologically run stove heater. There was electricity but no running water for the yourte we had. Also the toilet was a dry one and only for emergencies. Showers and toilettes were a quick walk which added to the charm of the experience. If you prefer to have your ensuite toilet and shower then you can choose the slightly more expensive and newer yourtes which are also next to the breakfast cafe for a quick caffeine fix in the morning. The host Martin was amazing and literally went out of his way to please and to ensure our stay was great. Him and his wife Martine and all their staff were just cool. There is an amazing restaurant for food though it gets busy (good sign!). I highly suggest going on the electric skidoos tour if you are a beginner . I had never ridden one and I am now already planning to come back next year with my whole family. Try this magnificent experience , you won’t regret it!

Had an awesome stay at Imago…stayed one of the kamooks with 3 people…plenty of room…was heated and cozy even at -35!! If you are a “cold” person and generally like to keep toasty warm, bring an extra blanket…we had an extra one and didn’t even use it! Kamook we stayed in was very clean and organized. Had to make our own beds which was a bit awkward in the loft, but doable… Has all the typical kitchen tools and utensils you might need…the induction plate takes forever to heat up and it would literally take forever if you wanted to prep an entire meal, I think there may have been a BBQ available to us, but we brought our own little portable propane stove and it was much faster to heat water or cook anything. We brought muffins for breakfast but there is a quaint cafe like 50-100’ from any of the yurts, which can cook you up a hot meal and Yourte Bistro within walking distance for the evening…a little more $$ and the portions were smaller than what we are used to but it was very different and delicious!! The entire experience was worth it! Imago was very eager to accommodate…any quick communication should be done on FB messenger and this is where you will check in and ask any questions or address any concerns….thanks for the experience, Imago!!
